A group from Ponoka and Wetaskiwin walked in a 3 Lake Challenge on July 5 to raise funds for Alongside Hope Wild Ride. In partnership with the Diocese of Jerusalem, Alongside Hope is providing solar panels for St. Luke's Hospital in Nablus the West Bank. Every dollar raised helps St. Luke's keep operating rooms running during outages, power neonatal incubators and oxygen machines, reduce dependence on costly diesel generators, free up funds for patient care, and provide stability in a region where stability is precarious.
