We gathered outside the church to prepare the ashes for Ash Wednesday after our Sunday Eucharist service on Feb. 15. Rev. Armand spoke about the significance of burning the palm branches from last year's Palm Sunday service and of turning the palms into ashes as well as the significance of Ash Wednesday. The ashes were now ready for our Ash Wednesday service on Feb. 18.
