Sept. 30 at 4:30 PM – Orange Shirt Day Walk: Every Child Matters

In partnership with the Wetaskiwin & District Heritage Museum we will be walking to remember the children who went to residential schools, those who came home and those who did not.    You are invited to join us as we walk to remember that every child matters.

Wear orange on September 30th to show your support.

Bishop Jane tells the story of Phyllis Webstad and the orange shirt that was taken from her the day she entered residential school, a shirt that has come to symbolize the need to care for every child.  Click here to find the video:
