DESCRIPTION:Bring your pets to the Bark Park at By the Lake Park for a blessing! \n    \nThe Blessing of pets\, and other animals is a way to celebrate the life of St. Francis of Assisi.  St. Francis understood at a deep intuitive level the connection of humanity with the rest of living things.  He called the creatures 'brother' and 'sister'.  He preached to them and he invented the Christmas Nativity Scene as a way to show animals the mystery of Christ's birth. \n
