We had an amazing time together on Saturday, June 11. We listened to a story about a residential school survivor, we painted our hands and placed them on what will be an altar frontal, we planted & watered our garden, and we had snacks. Thank you everyone who came and made this a great afternoon.
We won’t forget what happened at residential schools and we, as a church, will continue to say we are sorry.
You are welcome to make a heart out of paper and 'plant' it in our Heart Garden as a sign of remembrance.
